How George Was On TV

Microstory Contest Winner - Grades 5 & 6 (Prompt A)
“Hey, Henry!” yelled George as he burst into the small apartment that he and his brother shared.
“Yeah?” said Henry.
“Guess what?” George, the news reporter, said. “Don’t you know how I covered the story about that big fire in Coralville? Well, it’s going to be on TV at six o’clock! My first TV report!”
“Quick!” Henry said, running to a closet and pulling out balloons. He began to decorate the room.
Six o’clock arrived. The brothers hurried into the living room, turned on the TV, and sat down.
It’s sure great being a reporter, George thought happily.
